Christians please explain this

Many people are incapable of true comprehension. Scripture cited by itself oftentimes won't make sense because you have to understand either context, or its use as a foreshadow, typology, etc.

That's why the bible is so misunderstood by those too lazy to study.

In contexts this was spoken by John, one of the 12 apostils also known as the one who was most loved by Jesus. He was also one of the three who stayed by Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and who accompanied him to His meeting with Moses Elijah and Abraham. He was also a recipient of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. He preached this as part of the gospel after the ascension of Jesus. It must also be considered in conjunction with wat Jesus said in

I just quoted these scripture to answer another post. Just to be clear are you saying that Christians real Christians live a sin free life?

Jesus leads the Way, not one Christian.

It's rather simple. Those who are awake (saved) can not sin. But most of those who think they are saved are really not, for it is much more than simply 'believing in jesus'. It's like this:

Everything is one:

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

So let's think about it this way, if your entire body is ONE, but for some reason you see your feet as separate from yourself, then you would not worry about your feet getting hurt, either by you or someone/something else. But, if you realize one day that those feet you have been seeing are actually a part of you, then it would be impossible to ignore any pain inflicted upon them, or to not take care of them as you would the rest of yourself.

It is about being born again, and all of the supposed christians who think you can just say something to make that happen are delusional.

Everything 'outside' of yourself is actually a part of yourself, and it takes being born again to have this truth realized, it cannot be realized through logic or any other human means. It is the light of God that brings this about, and some will receive the light and some will not. It is not a matter of choice.

The truth is, we do not abide in the Lord lest we be born again.

Most people do not understand what it means to be born again.

In this life, we call out to Christ to save us, then we (eventually) die.

When we are born again, we are born into righteousness, our Karma having been cleared. We may inhabit the body of a martyr, or a Saint, and after that we will inhabit the body of Christ, literally.

Our conciousness will be one with Christ as he lived(lives) and we will "take up the cross" and be crucified for the sins of Mankind.

And his seed will remain in him, and he cannots sin, because he has been born of God.

Oi.. and you started so well then you had to get into the karma BS. We don’t inhabit God, He inhabits us trough his Holey Spirit making us Holey as He is Holey and no sin can stand on Holey ground. The key is to be baptised with the Holey Spirit (Gods Seed)

i dont know about me...if i would had to guess i would say i am still accompanied by devils and demons often.

You can atone for any sin with your repentance = sinless.

so i would say i am not really born of spirit as a new being as God wants us...

i still reside with my fleshly desires and they are driving me straight to hells gate....

So if he said this in Chapter 1 why then did he contradict himself in chapter 3 of the same book? The answer is that he was explaining that we are all in need of salvation and if we say we are not then we are lying. But when we receive His salvation and the Holey Spirit then we are without sin.

And how many Christians do you know who are Holy?

Answer: Zero. Christians continue to sin constantly. Many of them worse, because they become vain in their assumed righteousness, haughty, hypocritical.

You do not call out to Christ and become immediately holy or cleansed or any other such thing. Not in this life. Many will try, and that's great, they will reach their destination in Christ faster.

The rest will need to continue to reincarnate upwards, towards living the life of Christ, which they are assured from the Holy spirit, who heard their call for salvation.

Those who don't turn to Christ will continue to incarnate downwards, into more and greater degeneration.

yes but i think the relevance of repentance is in the act of knowing and understanding (and hating) the consequences of your sin and fault.

i think people are deceived even by letting their children eat sweet,because that makes them sick and that is not the thing God wants for us

Nothing by itself is sinful. The circumstances decide. E.g. eating sweet is no problem until done beyond a healthy measure.

The key to a Holey life lies in observing the new commandment as given to us by Jesus before His assertion. That we should love one another.
I know a lot of people that calls themselves Christians but I know very few real Christians. When you meet one you will know because you will sense the holiness in them and in their presence you will experience peace.
