why to square the cirlce ?

The expression "squaring the circle" is sometimes used as a metaphor for trying to do the impossible

but that implies that the person who invented the metaphor either

a): actually believed that it's impossible
or
b): wanted everyone to think that it's impossible

same goes for the users of the metaphor

are you the a) or the b) ?

The perimeter of the square is equal to the circumference of the circle and the area of both is equal if Pi=22/7.

so are you talking about the circle that fits inside the square or the square that fits inside the circle ?

cause in those two cases the square would be different size if the cirlce was kept the same

Squaring the circle is not only reasonable and possible but it has actually already been done at least as far as math or geometry is concerned

Whether that theoretical knowledge has been translated to practice yet remains to be seen.

Circle: whole/holy

Square: rigid/orthodox

Unfortunately, the task of manufacturing virtue is better left to the real machinery.

The square is 'Female', it draws a square.

The compass is 'Male', it draws a circle.

So 'Squaring the Circle' = Union of Square and Compass.



You see the compass is drawing a circle before your very eyes!
