(Eccl. 12:13) People regard the Ten Commandments as simply basic behavioral rules that God expects of everyone, then of course they will expect everyone to follow them. What these people tend to miss, however, is that this is not how the Jews originally understood the Ten Commandments. Instead, the Ten Commandments were regarded as behavioral rules for Jews — the chosen people. They weren’t commandments for everyone else. Now THAT is almost hilariously funny. So it's only wrong for Jews to kill, steal, lie, commit adultery, etc.? I wonder if someone came to your house tonight and killed someone, then stole your money and car if you'd feel the same way? "Oh, wait officer... they're not a Jew, so it's ok that they did it!" That's about the most foolish statement I've ever heard in my life!
