Strange “vibrations” detected throughout the United States

you guys with the eq dogs -- are they also sensitive to thunderstorms? i know there are a lot of dogs that will start cowering and hiding before a big storm so i was wondering if it is likely to be those kinds of dogs. my own dogs are happy dorks i guess, they don't seem to notice anything unusual and are always calm and chill during bad storms.

The movement I felt today at 2:15 and a few more times after wasn't a vibration like from a washing machine. It was moving my desktop and computer desk like a small quake.

In regards to internal vibrations- I've been experiencing those for 2 decades. (I am an energy/reiki practitioner ) They have been much stronger the past few months. Internal vibrations are much different than external and easy to distinguish.

When you get in bed at night lay on your back and you should feel the vibrations. If not consciously bring your awareness to your body.

I not only get the vibrations but also the power surges through my head,hands, feet and lower spine.

My sister has a cat who hides during thunderstorms.

One thing that really concerns me about the PNW is the number of dams. Eugene, OR is surrounded by SEVEN of them.

let me add this:

I had been talking to an older lady friend of mime. she's like a grandma to me. we were discussing the cycle changes that so many women are having lately. got us talking about a lot of other things.

she's almost 80...and on the other side of menapause..but she started telling me about what they had to use for their 'personals' way back then...made me think of after the SHTF...and what the ladies would do now when they're unable to buy another box of tampon disposables

so grandma-friend told me that her and her sisters each had their own 'personals'....each responsible for washing their own...they would fold them to sit inside their panties...change as needed. she said the old cloth people used for diapers were the best...altho I have no idea where they may sell them at today. they used regular salt, a washboard, & cold water to get the stains out as much as they could. rocksalt size 100X better than table salt..has more cleaning power. Use it direct, not mixed into the wash. Small brush very helpful. she said she still uses salt on tough stains...no 'shout it out' for her...

so it may be a good idea to plan ahead and have some 'personals' set aside just-in-case. Inexpensive towels that can be cut down & used if needed...That, and a whole lotta rock salt..

btw---they called them 'granny rags'...hence the slang of 'ragging'...'on the rag' that people use today. Just a little fyi...may be useful information later on

Yesterday around 2pm EST I felt a "vibration". It wasn't literally vibrating though... Its hard to explain. I had just walked into the kitchen, standing at the sink, then started to feel a sway almost. And a slight dizziness for about 10 seconds. I have never felt that before.

my dog acting strange also. she is very afraid of t-storms or anything that even sounds like thunder (like the recylcing bins being wheeled to road)...only we have had no storms

she tends to be moody & sometimes she'll bristle in defiance...but today she was actually nippy with me. she wouldn't go outside...so I went to prod her off the couch...and she snapped at me. not like her at all....we've had her for years and this is the first time she's ever done that.

Two back to back good size vibrations here in Joliet, Illinois. Thought it was just my "glp imagination" until I heard the dogs in the neighborhood all barking like crazy.

Okay, something definitely happened last night at about the same time all these vibrations reports came in and it happened all over the country. THAT is freaky!! Look at the blips around midnight last night all over the place.

Check out the SOHO data from 12:00 midnight UTC last night and view the images of the odd solar event on the backside of the sun. It is best seen on the images rather than the movie. You can see the same event on both lasco2 and lasco3 but the lasco3 images are more distinct.

This event coincides with another vibration event on the seismographs everywhere at the very same same time (12:00 midnight UTC).

I reported yesterday on this thread that I heard a humming sound around 1am dec. 3rd, Southern Maine. Heard humming about same time dec. 4th. Woke up late this morning to learn that Maine had a small 2.3 eq around 6am. Hmmm

Probably a train or plane. Happens all of the time.

Humming noises come from all sorts of things.

Small quakes are also not uncommon around the world. Dozens each day that are never even reported

This was talked about on the radio this morning. There is a military base not too far from here and the noise was said to be the military training and the noise spread further due to low clouds. It did sound like artillery firing. There was something high up in the air over that way with a blue flashing light that didn't appear to be moving very far so wasn't a plane. If it hadn't been flashing a blue light I'd have had thought it was a star.

I'm in Massachusetts and for the past several months, I've periodically experienced dizziness and lightheadedness and a distinct feeling of the Earth shaking but there were no Earthquakes here. Its happened enough recently I think it corresponds with large quakes "locally" in my hemisphere. My family thinks I'm loopy but its true; a couple of times it was so bad I had to lay down.

In response to someone's post, I'll start taking note of when it happens for everyone's comparison. Its gotten to the point I feel the vibrating (which is a better explanation than "shaking" when nothing else is moving) and then I go to the USGS site for the Worldmap of Earthquake activity and it usually indicates there was a "nearby" (in this hemisphere) large Earthquake.

I'm not New Age, I'm a Christian, and I've been feeling these "vibrations" for several months now.

Well yesterday I felt dozens of vibrations

and today I've felt a constant vibration...

I'm certain what I am feeling is coming from inside me now.

My hand is not shaky, nor do I appear jittery

But nothing else around me is reacting to any form of shaking.

So logically I find myself believing its within me not an outside source.

upon researching these vibrations... I can assume its due to stress... Blood pressure or possibly early signs of MS or a tumor in the brain

ahhh I think its anxiety... while I have felt the calmest I have in years at the moment... I have a few indications of stress/anxiety related 'events' occurring with me.

Such as a feeling a lump in the throat... its been going on about a month now... quite annoying... feels like something is tightening a rope around my neck. Its stress related and currently my life is the lest stressful its been in a long time... or is it? lol

I'll take the stress/anxiety raising blood pressure putting stress on my nerve endings explanation over all other possibilities lol

I had a similar experience on the way home from work today. Sudden, intense vibrations felt like they were coming from my bones. It lasted about 20 minutes, and like you said, no outward shaking. Last few days have been feeling very calm and it's not a blood pressure issue or stress.

it felt like it was coming from my bones, because when I grabbed my arm I could feel it in the bone, but no shaking in the arm.
