I'm in BC and it has been shaking here for weeks. I have never seen it this active in my life. THe Pacific Rim is gonna blow. Just last night after midnight my dog began to howl and he never does that.

The night of the Japan EQ in 2011 I got no sleep at all, nearly took him to the emergency vet, but that's when I realized what was happening. Today he has been an absolute WRECK to the point I just gave him a Benadryl to calm the fuck down. I've been home with him all day, he's not sick, things are seemingly peaceful around here, nice weather etc. NO reason he should be whining, hiding, pacing, following me from room to room. Until I read this thread ...  Shit happens within 24 hours of the start of this behavior. He started about 10 am Pacific time today. Ummm your DOG was wrong. First time ever? Amazing isn't it. You post about your dog being able to predict every single 7.0 earthquake and the one time you post about it - fails. Incredible odds. It appears to be the case. Oh well - maybe next time.
