People once used to be able to smoke just about anywhere...no you could look at prison time for smoking on a plane. 4% of the general population gets lung cancer. 8% of smokers get lung cancer. When you REALLY look at smoking...it is not as bad as the gov't claims. It is about control. Oh well...you will understand some day :-)

It's simple enough - if you expect someone else to pay for or subsidize your rent, you're subject to their rules. Don't like it? Get a job and pay for your own housing.

According to the article, the people they want to send there don't HAVE to go - they can leave and pay for their own housing somewhere else. It's not a prison. Frankly, I think it's pretty generous. They're troublemakers who aren't being kicked out altogether, but still given paid-for housing away from the non-troublemakers.

People have the right to be assholes if they want, but they DON'T have the right to do it on someone else's dime.

1. Wilders is not part of government anymore. He lost heavily during last elections. His party was reduced to a minority party.

2. We don't have the neighbourhoods where you can't stroll at night... like Ftance or the UK. Still, Europe is many times safer to stroll at night than the U.S. or South America.

3. Anti Social Scum, having a minimum welfareof $900 in NL, getting a subsidized new home, paying no taxes, less health insurance, and still being a nuisance on a daily basis... what do you expect ?

This is not about working class, self sufficient people.

If it is a group of the tenants around the problem asshole...fine. If it is some anonymous committee that "decides"...the average person will be fu<ked. I can almost guarantee you it will be some anonymous committee and normal behavior will be the behavior that gets "ostracized." Don't forget...when the economy REALLY collapses...just about everybody will be on "government housing." There will not be a choice to leave...because there will be no jobs to pay for the ability to leave.

Here in Argentina you have those, here are called "villas". I´ve been in Brazil too and there are called "favelas". Once those things appear is impossible to get rid of them, they are the source of every kind of crime you can think of, from drugs to kidnapping, prostitution, etc.

I can't see that as a totally bad idea. I've had neighbors I'd like to send to the Amsterdam gulags.

In my line of work which has involved building homes and property maintenance for a few good decades, we weed out potential buyers and renters by swinging by their current place or dwelling.

We look at a number of things, which has little to do with how much money do they make....

Do they keep themselves and their surroundIngs clean?, do they maintain their vehicles, do they own or possess items of value showing desire to be the best they can be but not extravagant?...

What is their last 5 years like?, holding jobs?, kids well mannered?, wearing clean clothes?. Criminal record?.

Most of us know scum. If you can't accept that there are certain types of people that will never make any acceptance into what a lot of us claim to be average or just above / better.... Than maybe you might need to rethink how low your country can go in paying for these people to survive on your dime.

I consider myself tolerant, but I've seen the worst of the worst destroy a home in 6 months between inspections and then fight tooth and nail against the courts to be removed.

We call ourselves civilized for a reason, there are some that will never ever be even close to that description.
