I don't deny that post-Stalin Soviet Union was oppressive, Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17837699 How about the during-Stalin Soviet Union? More complicated. Stalin strove to implement democracy, other communists were afraid that the capitalists would regain power, so they prevented democratic reforms. Only complicated if you are mentally handicapped. To anyone of average intelligence, Stalin is yet another example of the psychopath who gravitates toward government because of his own inability to control his own life. Communists are predictably 100% not in control of their own lives, hence their fascination with controlling everyone else.  Laughing out loud! Communism: A stateless, classless, moneyless society! Communists want to ABOLISH the government! Stalin tried to implement democracy! You can even google and see for yourself! Google Stalin's struggle to implement democracy! and yet you, in your delusions STILL think communists want to control others! laughing out loud!
