AP JUST NOW: US weighing military options if Syria uses WMD

Options now being considered range from aerial strikes to limited raids by regional forces to secure the stockpiles, according to one current U.S. official, and one former U.S. official, briefed on the matter. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

The administration remains reluctant to dispatch U.S. forces into Syria, but a U.S. special operations training team is in neighboring Jordan, teaching troops there how to safely secure such sites together with other troops from the region, the officials said.

I don't believe the reports that Syria is about to use nuclear weapons. I think there's been a plan in place to bomb Syria with this excuse.

Are you serious? The US are backed by the UK who in turn are backed by the commonwealth, not to mention NATO and thats some military might available, the US will never fight alone without the UK and usually, the winning side always has the UK on it.

Russia usually fights on the side of the UK too and I see no reason why they would prefer to side with Islamic nations to be honest, its not really in their interests to do so.

When UK war against Russia - Russia won wars every time. See history. In last time our war was intervention in Soviet Russia in 1918-1919 years. Russia again won war and UK lost war. You poor know history.
