question for genuine athiests only -- preferably born and bred athiests

I was born into it but it seems like society is shedding those beliefs. It might take some time and I'll probably never see it on my lifetime. I am not afraid at all. Weak mind were always easier to control.

PS: I don't feel anything.

I have no fear of being judged, surely God wouldn't break his own commandments.

I've been on both sides of this question. I can say without a shadow of doubt that the freethinking side is the better. When you have completely rid your mind of Christianity and the fears of the afterlife you can finally know the peace that the Bible promises but never delivers.

As a Christian I had to constantly guard my thoughts not to offend a capricious jealous God. This was motivated by fear. As a freethinker I can dispassionatly think whatever I want and discard the thoughts that don't work for me.

It feels exactly like how you wake up and don't fear the wrath of Zeus or Rah.
