Anyone here suffer from chronic pain that doesn't go away with any med?

Why does it need to be into anything?

Instead become aware of a tension. That's all.

Neither accept or reject the pain. Don't classify it, don't cling to it. Watch it as you would observe clouds.

Others will tell you to start meditating in order to do this. But I don't think so.

Meds are the very worst way to deal with chronic pain as they will never be sufficient and you will have to change them or increase them. Get over the meds.

It's called getting old and sore. Try some Motrin for pain management.....forget what the bottle says....doctors will tell you to take 3-4 200IU pills every 4hrs for severe pain. If you get to 4pills times 4X a day and it still is not enough good luck maybe you need some sort of surgery.

I smoke cannabis it works. Majority of medication not only doesnt work, it kills my stomach.

If I cant smoke, I am not a happy camper. I dont deal with it, and anyone around me feels the wrath of my pain.

I understand. And I have a daughter in law who was in a severe car wreck at age 10 and grew with a disabled hip and vastly shortened leg. She deals with constant pain.

Pain is wearing. Chronic pain with no end in sight is hard to manage.

I suggest a very high level of multiple B vitamins (which are depleted first in stress) lots of omega and lots of minerals, especially magnesium and zinc.

I also suggest a lot of stretching and rolling. You didn't share the source of your pain, so I don't know if that's something that can help.

Make sure you eat lots of anti inflammatory foods and take whatever is available to you to reduce inflammation.

I don't know if you have a condition which can improve. Know that some days are better than others. Ice, if that's appropriate. Be grateful for days that are less painful. Be grateful that you are alive today when there are some helps available that were not available to your grandparents.

OH! Find someplace where you can take mineral spas!! I have been damn near cured by soaking for days in mineral waters!!

I work for a medical device company and help people on a daily basis with their chronic pain. Where do you hurt specifically? I haven't seen that medication help particularly, because as stated earlier, more and stronger rx are needed.

I have a very bad knee, next to useless and i'm always in pain.

I switch from Ibuprophin to Tylenol and it doesnt do anything for me, i just mentally feel better.
I have been in constant pain for 4 years now.
I also have Fibromyalgia which is a very real pain all over the body and it flares up, i have it today.
I still manage to get up early, do my few chores, then i never turn a trip to the stores down or with my family.
I try to live as normal as possible even though this FUCKING PAIN IS KILLING ME ALL THE TIME.

yeah a crushed foot in 94 ... from a cement truck....



morphine only keeps me from blowin my head off... BUT if i ever run out , then its curtains i guess!

I'm not saying anything about trying or not trying, those two are the same thing, they will both result is something. Most likely unpleasant. What I'm talking about is coming to a meditative state through out your entire daily life, whereas, things that happen are no longer leaned upon psychologically. One can float through pain or pleasure unattached. Has nothing to do with blocking it out or getting rid of it. Has everything to do with who you believe yourself to be when experiencing the pain.

oh yeah and then thiers the hospitals and doctors that think your only tryin to cop some drugz... azzholes

It drives me crazy a lot of people don't know the pain they think its just a headache

evry 8 mos or so they burn out some nerves in my spine tryin to stop the signals goin from foot to brain ....
