'Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death." Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, No. 1, December 19, 1776 "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it." Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, No. 4, September 11, 1777 "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President. "A majority of the people of the United States have lived all of their lives under emergency rule. For 40 years, [79 years now in 2012] freedoms and governmental procedures guaranteed by the Constitution have in varying degrees been abridged by laws brought into force by statutes of national emergency." |

Basically, using that picture is cruel. But it is OK to depict Obama as a homosexual and a thug....Got it. mrclean |

Captain Spaulding User ID: 28933991 United States 12/03/2012 10:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let's stick together and fight our REAL enemies, the banks and multi-nationals. They're doing the divide and conquer through propaganda and fear. They're controlling the media. They're the ones screwing us all. Start at the top and work our way down. Not vice versa. Otherwise all we're doing is being manipulated and fighting useless, benign mini battles of snitty little insults between each other anonymously on the internet. And we will fail, of our own accord. I mean, c'mon, exploiting a innocent special needs kid with a picture of him on a public forum is pretty damn cold and not effective in any way. It just makes the side the poster is on look worse. It has an inverse effect. ARTICULATE! Take action! Speak your mind with intelligence and you just might be able to change a few people to who or whatever it is you're trying to stand for. But insulting poor retarded kids would not be a way to win my respect. Hit 'em from the top. Make phone calls, send letters, start petitions (it works, I sign a lot and call my reps here in AZ regularly). And I've seen it make a difference on some issues. make the people that represent us know we're watching them and their actions by more than just voting. If anything, it's a start. |
