WHOA..... France and Britain Reportedly Considering Pulling Ambassadors from Israel
[link to www.theatlanticwire.com]

The sobering news comes just three days after Benjamin Netanyahu's widely publicized and controversial decision to start construction in the 4.6-square-mile E1 zone, a move that many believe will ruin the chances of a two-state solution to the region's conflict. Captured by Israel in the 1967 war, the strip of land connects the Jewish settlement of Maale Adumim to Jerusalem. However, the proposed 3,000 homes built on that land would also cut off Ramallah and Bethlehem from Jerusalem, "making the contiguous Palestinian state endorsed by the United Nations last week virtually impossible," according to The New York Times. It also makes a single contiguous Palestinian state impossible. Along with another recently announced settlements to be built in Ramot and Pisgat Zeev and a stretch of land known as Givat Hamatos -- 3,810 units total -- Israel is embarking on the biggest settlement construction spree since the 1970s.

France and Britain are obviously incensed by Israel's behavior, which is widely viewed as Netanyahu's tit-for-tat response to Palestine's recent victory in the United Nations. It's not just the settlement decision but also how it came about. As the Haaretz report explains, the two countries " are reportedly angry because they view Israel as having responded ungratefully to the support the two countries gave it during the recent Gaza operation." They also said that the settlement move crossed a "red line." Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague said that the settlements were "illegal under international law and undermine trust between parties."

Jerusalem: Britain and France are thinking over to take action, possibly including the unprecedented step of recalling their ambassadors from Israel, in response to Israel’s announcement of settlement expansion, a report said on Monday.

Israel continued with retaliatory measures against the Palestinian Authority (PA) following their successful bid at the United Nations to win a non-member state observer status, the Reuters quoted daily Heeratz.

A day after PA’s successful bid at the UN, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision on Friday to move ahead with plans for E1 and to build 3,000 housing units in East Jerusalem and West Bank settlements has apparently “shocked” the foreign ministries and the leaders in London and Paris.

According to the paper, Britain said on Monday it had summoned the Israeli ambassador in London to express its concerns over Israel’s plans to expand Jewish settlements.

French foreign minister Laurent Fabius summoned the Israeli ambassador to France, Yossi Gal, to express his unhappiness over the project.

French media reported that London and Paris were considering joint action which would send a “strong diplomatic signal”. However, Paris refused to confirm rumours that it was planning to pull out its ambassador.

“This time it won’t just be a condemnation, there will be real action taken against Israel,” a senior European diplomat told.

A final decision in the matter will be made today by the British and the French foreign ministers, report added.

Bluff, smoke and mirrors. Oh how convenient! Britian and France 'consider..'

Actions speak louder than words. This is just for public/sheeple consumption. Diverting from the problem, creating a distraction and debate about whether building or not is legal/moral.

Meanwhilst, the building starts..

Another miscalculation, another hosile act, another display of hubris, another glimpse beyond the veil, another move towards critical mass.

I fear for Isreal's future. Zbignew Brezinski is a prophet. Soon there will be a straw that breaks the camel's back and the law of unintended consequences kicks in ushering the end of a nation.

Don't hold your breath! I'm curious as to who will be outed for whatever as a warning prior to the decision being taken.

Watch for some political scandal to break in UK and France today.

So...other than "I'm taking my ball and going home" version of Yank the ambassador, what does it solve?
Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Yawn.

Talk about phony-indignation & crocodile tears.

A bunch of Quislings and Vichy who are

1) terrified of their Muslim population (French Muslims giving Hollande some 90% of their votes basically handed him the election over Sarcozy)

2) completely been bought & paid for by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE. France in particular is basically owned by Qatar.

3) afraid of more al-Qaeda attacks & more aggressive Taliban in Afganistan ahead of 2014 pull-out. Terrified of their own shadows, practically.

You know UK and France should have tought about that BEFORE they encouraged Abbas to abrogate the Oslo Accords by pulling that stunt at the UNGA last week. The very Oslo Accords that were explicitly GUARANTEED by the Europeans, Americans and the rest of the so-called 'Quartet'

Funny how that works - serious actions have CONSEQUENCES. Abbas has been dodging Netanyahu's offers to negotiate for 2 years now... and then he pulls that shit?

I'll tell you what, let's make a deal. Netanyahu is willing to put the announced new housing in Jerusalem on hold, if Abbas agrees to:

1. Re-constitute all those Jewish kids, women and elderly torn apart by suicide bombings over the years.

2. Un-fire literally 10,000 rockets at Israeli civilian populations.

3. Un-teach a whole new generation of Palestinian kids who've been taught that Jews have no history, are not real Jews, that they are pigs, rats & spawn of Satan who deserve extermination - or at least expulsion from ENTIRE Israel, not just disputed lands.

4. Withdraw his application for (non-member) statehood from last week.

5. Recognize Holocaust.

6. Re-imburst Israel for all the economic damage from 20 years of terror since Oslo Accords and for additional security costs incurred in prevention thereof.

7. Recognize previous legally-binding decisions by League of Nations (San Remo), the UNSC Resolution 242 -- from which the Oslo Accords frame-work is derived, of course.

Deal?

Whereas Brezinski-pants a loser who hitched his wagon to Jimmy Freakin' Carter. Bwaaa-ahahaah.

But hey, he can use words like "techno-tronic" which makes all the pretentious, conspiracist fan-boys cream their G-strings....

Seriously between that fugly FSB monkey Putin and Brezinski... people need to find them some NEW heroes, pronto. It's frankly embarassing.
