Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27418740 You mean the "banksters" who claim to be "jews" to spread racism towards a race of people? You have it backwards. I don't see people losing jobs for saying publicly that bankers are ruining the country. |

Because everyone has een vote to let their voice be heard. But when you mix it with a capitalistic system it get's ugly. Basically it's like, the one with the most money wins, as he or she can afford a bigger campaign to reach a bigger audience. And if that doesn't work you can always buy votes. And what about the "we're gonna bring democracy to ....(Fill in the blanks)". Why force a specific political system onto another country where it might not even work. Like we seen in Afghanistan,Iraq, etc. I say let the people of countries decide about that. If they want the muslim brotherhood, let them have it. Or whatever they prefer. |

Democracy is a terrible form of government. It has nothing to do with whether it's in a capitalist system or collectivist system. The thing about democracy is that the majority will vote themselves "free" stuff from other people (also known as theft). One person one vote sounds like a great idea, but as Winston Churchill said "the best case against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter." And of course anyone with an IQ above room temperature knows that spreading democracy is just the guise the US uses to take oil from the middle east. Notice how the US doesn't spread democracy in Africa. |

Other countries have resources the US or the Corporations that control the US want, or they occupy strategic locations the US military wants to put a base on, so they drum up some excuse to go attack the country and set up one of their puppets as the new leader. Or sometimes they just funnel money to other opposition groups and have them do most of the dirty work of 'regime change' for them. Happens a lot in Africa & South/Latin America. And as a previous OP mentioned, it's all about the M.I.C. making obscene profits off the war machine. Democracy has very little, if anything, to do with it. It's become exceedingly difficult to be proud of the way the US conducts itself.... |
