and what about a prototype to make sure it works
I'm working on some shit to but it has to work better than anything else and last a lifetime
and there is a level of health that goes with it
sounds like your aiming for the communist market
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29056435 You bring up a valid concern. Before I do anything I will need to make sure my most valuable products are protected overseas as well, if that is even possible. I knew a guy who's invention was ripped off by the Chinese. It destroyed the American guy. He got so mad rumor has it he flew over to the factory in China and actually killed the Chinese guy. As far as prototypes, there are many ways to build them yourself by making molds and pouring liquid resin plastic. You can also buy a milling machine. I actually have a milling machine but it's not necessary. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1212477 What kind of mill are you running? Got a little cnc'd x2 here. I wouldn't focus so much on the patent. As others said, it offers little protection. I consulted a patent attorney for years while developing a motocross neck brace unlike anything on the market. I was advised to focus on a trademark of the design, protects the "art" aspect of the form. The attorney made it clear that if a large company wished to infringe on my patent, the victory would be whomever could stay in court the longest. Since the competitors have lawyers on retainer, they would easily walk all over me. Food for thought.
