No classless, Kate Middleton is the direct descendent of Henry VIII. Much has been made of Kate Middleton's commoner roots. In fact, her paternal family tree can be traced back to Henry VIII. Her mother, Carole Goldsmith's, ancestral line is less glamorous, leading back to a 19th-century miner.
