Me too think that the moon seems different know than when I was a kid but I live closer to the equator now and suspected that makes a difference to perspective

Same here, noticed this last summer. Definitely something you'll remember, especially if you've spent any time concentrating on things like this before. I'm not an avid stargazer either, but well aware of the basics and how things should look or have looked like before.

Now what's kind of weird is that these are clear signals of such huge changes having already taken place, that all of those more enthusiastic gazers most definitely would pick them up immediately. As far as I can tell, it seems no-one has noticed a thing - except here of course, and among other groups of people tuned into the possibility that things may always not be as we've been told. So why the silence? Are we perhaps living in alternate realities, or could it be people just keep their mouths shut since what they're witnessing is "too crazy" for them to accept as truth? Difficult to say, and interesting to see how things are going to fold out!

I took note of this last year and no one seemed to care. I have been on this earth for many years and find this odd. Just for kicks, I went to a few sites to view historical or at least what the moon is supposed to be. Go here, it is shown quite differently than the now reality. Just set back to say 1980 and also the present.

IF the Moon was always vertical then when rising and you are looking East the lit part would be on the left or right depending on waxing or waning right? Then that means the Sun would be either directly north or South of it at that time. Does that seem right to you at all?

Another thing to think about. When you see it setting and it appears turned clockwise to the right, AT THE SAME TIME, someone on the other side of the world sees it rising and turned to the left. Someone between those observers sees it high in the sky and upright. If it were a real tilt the turn would be the same for ALL OBSERVERS. The simple fact that it isn't proves it is just a trick of perspective.
