What you have proved is you are willfully ignorant and likely can't visualize anything in 3 dimensions. Quoting: Weasel_Turbine Just open a book. You still did not read such a simple things and you call ignorant people, what a shame you are. Not a good example of an american guy at all. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28219364 Mexico 12/05/2012 10:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is actually waning but doing so from top to bottom....I noticed it a couple of nights ago!!!!!Yes off 90• !!!! Same here, noticed this last summer. Definitely something you'll remember, especially if you've spent any time concentrating on things like this before. I'm not an avid stargazer either, but well aware of the basics and how things should look or have looked like before. Now what's kind of weird is that these are clear signals of such huge changes having already taken place, that all of those more enthusiastic gazers most definitely would pick them up immediately. As far as I can tell, it seems no-one has noticed a thing - except here of course, and among other groups of people tuned into the possibility that things may always not be as we've been told. So why the silence? Are we perhaps living in alternate realities, or could it be people just keep their mouths shut since what they're witnessing is "too crazy" for them to accept as truth? Difficult to say, and interesting to see how things are going to fold out! I told people and they even saw the moonface had turned 90 degrees on its side but they just smiled and said thats odd, and completely ignored it so I wouldn't bother sharing these things as no one will even give a damn. Something has happened or is happening that is of significant relevance to Earhy but who knows what it might be? Whatever it is, I hope it will br positive for mankind. |

I was facing east and yes, it was waxing top to bottom, but it also looked like it was lower in the sky than it should have been at almost midnight. Wiki has a chart that explains how it should look for both northern & southern hemispheres. Quoting: IndigoMoon [link to en.wikipedia.org] Wiki's chart does not show you the effect of field rotation, nor could it, especially for both northern and hemisphere observers; it depends on observer position. The moon was waning gibbous last night and approaching last quarter. The last quarter moon RISES at midnight. Aha- that helps. Evidently I need some time "de-conspiracy-ing" (for lack of a better or real term.) Not to mention, I watched 2012 last night. I think I'll go make some bread. That will help to plant my feet back on the ground. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 29129726 Italy 12/05/2012 10:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe this is a dumb question, but wouldn't our day-night time change if earth was rotated 90 degrees? Hours of daylight? Anything? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 140124 No it is not. Anyway you will not find in such a book that the moon can rotates up in 90 desgrees in a session rise/set. That's another simple fact you can verify yourself whenever you want. Period. (green text) This is a simple fact for the guys who wants to verify. And the 90° tilted moon obviously, its not contemplate in any latitude of the earth. Period. |

Show ONE book that says the Moon is not subject to field rotation. Surely since you are pushing the book angle you know of many right? While you're at it, explain why two observers on opposite sides of the Earth can simultaneously see the Moon rising and setting and appear to be rotated different directions. If it were because of some anomalous Earth and/or Moon tilt then the rotation would be the same direction. A second ago you were bitching that people should read a book rather than read what I post. Now you demand to read what I post rather than "open a f**** book." Thanks for showcasing your hypocrisy. Here's a brief quote from that part of the book. "At the time of "new" Moon, the cusps or "horns" of the crescent sometimes lie in a line which is nearly perpendicular with the horizon, and at other times in a line nearly parallel with the horizon. In the former case the Moon is commonly described as "wet" Moon, and in the latter case as a "dry" Moon..." Lots more in the book itself, of course. |
