I don’t see a comparative analysis.
Just two ordinary SOHO photos and I cannot (visually) estimate if this means an increase or decrease of the solar flares magnitude.

The Sun is EXPLODING! Just like Hagel and Valugua said

Nasa moved ISS to view the Sun and record its total rotation.

Maybe they are doing this because they know somthing.

If somthing specacular is happening then I guess ISS will be the first to know.

I watch solarham and spaceweather everyday...
This is a far side CME/

However within 6-10 days these coronal sun spots will likely grow and begin to face earth...

Which could lead to a kp6 to kp5 solarstorm; (information at this time).

If they grow bigger, well we may see some M or even X class solar flares...


Thats my take on it.

No doom for now, just keep your eyes on the farside and hope that the current coronal sun spots, stay in the M or even C class range...

X class are not earths friend...

The interesting thing about the sun being active or quiet is that when it is active "we" (suntards, including myself) sit on the edge of our seats wondering what it will do next.

But when it is oddly quiet we ... sit on the edge of our seats really afraid of what it is going to do next.

It's a paradox but a valid human reaction nevertheless.

I used to live in Seattle....I found the sun in Calif....bright, warm, erratic.....it is wonderful....

I remember this year when the Sun began emmitting some type of unkown protons that did head towards earthy and nothing, zilch, nada.

The link of that doomsayer provided also claims there were 5 Suns, so unless there have been five Suns his ideas are questionable at the very least.

Also he claims the Sun will become a red giant on exactly the 23rd of December, yet another baseless argument as the timeline is very suspect, and should this in fact have been true, then mass deaths based on people, animals and everything else slowly frying would have come to light by now, just like planet X or the binary sun...


Knowing these tales are about to be disproven, we are now faced with a red gian expanding plasma ball that will absorb two planet ls nearby and will end up very close to earth, frying on one side then the other next..

I don't doubt there will be changes as we align with the milly way, nor that there might be some cloud heading towards us, but this guy is suggesting the end of the world at this point and I don't buy it...

Interesting comments about February about the same time there's a "data gap" in the Internet Robot (ahem, actual name censored on GLP) data.

Also, a meteor ~50km wide (2012 DA14) is going to be coming closer than our man-made satellites mid-February 2013.

IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 02/2100Z to
03/2100Z: Solar activity has been at low levels for the past 24 hours.
The largest flare was a C1 observed at 03/0036Z from a region that has
not yet rotated around the east limb. There are currently 3 numbered
sunspot regions on the disk.

IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very
low to low levels on days one, two, and three (04 Dec, 05 Dec, 06 Dec).
