[link to www.chron.com] So they throw the first judge out for showing bias in forcing Hasan to shave his face as it is required by the Army to not have a beard. Hasan states his beard is a requirement for his Muslim faith... Well.....Hasan did not have a problem shaving his face before the shooting did he? Nidal Hasan served 8 years as an enlisted soldier (1988-1996). He recieved his M.D. 9 years ago in 2003. So for 17 years, even while being Muslim, he had no problem shaving his face. But all of the sudden its a need for him to have a beard? I swear, our legal system sucks! And we have people who defend murderers like this guy? I think the defense ( the appeals court) is just as wicked as he is.

Pretty much. The guy is guilty as they come. Caught in the act of killing people, not in self defense. But we still have to prosecute him, he is still recieving paychecks and medical care. Our legal system is so rediculous, all thanks to those liberal rights activists. When [mass] murderers retain the rights of law abiding citizens, law abiding citizens should fear their law.

I was here on GLP when the shooting occured, and posters were posting news reports as it was happening. At first there were multiple shooters reported, and they were described as caucasian men wearing army gear. As time passed, the media reported that the shooter was this one Muslim guy. It seemed odd how the story changed so, and yes he was clean-shaven.

Are you referring to how the media did not want to immediately claim he was muslim, that it was a terrorist attack, for fear of it becoming a national "terrorist" issue, perpetuating the "anti-islamic" movement in America?
