In the 70s you had blacks going to college because they could, becoming doctors, getting the fuck out of the projects with honest work. Hip hop and rap died in the early 2000's as far as I'm concerned.

Immortal Technique spits the truth, I refuse to listen to anyone else. They are all sellouts, and that doesn't neccesarily just apply to hip hop/rap. The past 10 years have been the worst decade for music ever IMHO. The devil is deeper in the industry then what most think.
