Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
Amazing to find out soo many have witness this man with the trench coat and hat..I saw him in a dream but the dream seemed like a vision and it was soo life like and this completely black silloette of a man was standing on a pier where other people were also standing but they were waiting for a train or something but it was a pier with water below and he was just standing there looking at me and he was completely black no face and he was wearing a wide brimmed hat and long black trench coat.He was 6ft. It was also very black out a dark dark knight. Soo strange that there is a name for this called the shadow man or the hat man and others have witnessed this!

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
IMHO, The Shadow People are most probably Archonians which are described in the Nostican Texts.

They feed on fear, apparently and have been around for a very long, long time.

Most (99%) of the sightings of shadow men and woman involve them wearing a hat.

Strange stuff indeed. Seeing something like that would be very upsetting.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
i was walking home from a friend's at about 3 AM about 18 years ago.

i live in a small town and at that hour, there is never anyone on the streets

i randomly looked back over my shoulder to see behind me, i was walking down the middle of the street. i saw, about a block behind me, what looked like a very large man in a very long black coat. he had on a wide, round brimmed, flat-topped hat, kind of like the kind kurt russel wore in tombstone. i could see long white hair shining in the light of the street lamps behind him.

since i was just looking back at what i had expected to be an empty street, i had turned my head to face forward before i even realized what i had seen.

it took less than a second for it to register and when it did i swung my head back for a double-take....and he was gone.

i felt chilled that night and recalled stories i'd heard growing up about The Walking Man, The Hat Man, etc. etc.

when i was nearing my 30's i heard callers and guests on coast to coast AM talking about The Hat Man and i realized that that's what i had seen.

things had started to fall apart around me after i saw him. i saw him when i was already falling into depression and for the next seven years everything went wrong around me. family members died, i was betrayed by loved one, i became an addict, i ended up suicidal and in a suicide safe-house at one point.

but seven years afterwards my life finally started to seem like a positive thing.

now life is great. it's been great for nearly a decade.

Its great that you feel your life has picked up now at the time when i saw the hat man i think that was when my dad was suffering at his worst with depression which he has now fully recovered from. I will have to double check with my mum that this was actually the same time period but my mum told me i was a very young kid at the time

No - a fact for which I am very grateful.

I have been visited by the Cloaked One several times, though...same type of being, same MO.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
I don't know who he is but I have seen him throughout my entire life. When I was little I asked my big sis how to make the shadows go away and she laughed saying we cast our own shadows. She didn't understand what I was asking and being so young at the time, it didn't occur to me yet that this was not a normal thing...to see shadow people. I have also seen a short pudgy shadowman with a Derby hat .....

I have never been scared by them. They typically like to watch but once they are seen, they quickly flee and I intuit them saying "oops" but they make no sound. Definitely get an apologetic feeling from them.

I don't know what they are but my guess is interdimensional travelers. Just watching. Recording.

I have a friend who sees them too and he calls them "shades" - I don't really understand that.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Demons exist. You've seen it with your own eyes. This seems like a particularly nasty one from some of the curses he's inflicted on some of you.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
you folks describing this upon waking/sleeping/etc. should look into sleep paralysis

here is an interesting link:

you are truly not alone in this

the ones who see the man or other entities in daylight, or non-REM situations are even more intriguing to me. I have (somewhat thankfully) never been visited by larger shadow people such as the Hatman.

I have on occasion, however, seen the "shadow dogs" that seem to pop up occasionally in other peoples experiences.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
I saw the hatman about 10 years ago when I was just about to dose off to take a nap during the day. This is before I ever heard of him or it. I just remembered cus the fcking 2d shadow figure had a hat on like everyone describes. Had that strange long hat that I won't forget.

I was laying in bed and boom my body couldn't move and was held down and I felt a STRONG evil presence immediately. I got really fcking angry and was trying to turn my head and I was able force my head to turn toward and look at it. It was in my computer chair and actually spun around in my direction. I wanted to kill the thing and go to war with it but I could not move. Was like a 2d shadow and I could tell it had the coat and the weird hat and it just reeked of darkness. He like commanded respect and had and ancient warlord energy to him like hes been doing battle forever... Just all out darkness and a vibe of a decorated soldier of war, I don't know how to explain it.

I'm looking at it with this intense hate that I normally don't have and it says "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING ATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT" in this mean ass voice and it just echoed in my head. then the pressure was off me and the thing left and I hadn't seen it in 10 years lol. Now that I think of it it has been a rough 10 years since I saw that being for some reason. Recently just saw other people around the world have witnessed this being also and it's nice to know that I'm not alone. All I know is the thing is a cocksucker.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
For about a month I saw dark solid men with long trench coats and fedora hats in my room and all over the house. I was maybe 5 or 6. I would first wake up because of a low frequency chatter... Much like someone else described. It was in a language I have never heard. There were at least usually 3 in my bedroom but as many as 20 in the hall, kitchen and living room. I could run by them and they would leave me alone but one night when I ran to my parent's room I saw a steady line of them filing in and out of my little brother and sister's room.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
For whoever said it was a curse, get real. Some are sensitive and others are not. Faith is everything. Who cares what your ancestors did or said. What matters is what you decide to do. I don't feel cursed. While I have seen dark and evil entities I have also seen angels and heavenly beings. It's not a curse.

Re: Have you ever seen The Hat Man?
My Mother saw him. when she was young and my sister was a baby. My Dad worked night shift, she said she woke up and a man dressed in a dark or black cape and a black wide brimmed hat was standing at the bottom of her bed. She said she was petrified and then my sister started to cry in the other room the man just dropped to the floor and was gone
