To transfer a large inheritance tax free to a loved one. 3. To income split between a spouse earning all the money, and one doing the housework. It's all about money, assets, or immigration. If the govt was honest, marriage would be unnecessary for any of these reasons. It's just about control, lawyers, and money. Find someone that you live and have a commitment ceremony, and live in peace. Ignore the tards that would control you. |

I'm not sure about this entirely but I think the original purpose of the licence was to keep you from marrying jews, blacks, Moors or anyone under 13. It was a hedge against race mixing and perverts buying 9 year old girls from impovrished families for child brides. The government could refuse to sanction anything they though was unhealthy or immoral. I can see the usefulness in that, but today a fag can marry a fag in many places so what good is the licence now? |

Destruction of society is probably the largest part of it. As with all things, somebody had a good idea in the beginning but it turned into a monster as all things government eventualy do. It was a good thing to keep polygamists, child molesters and race mixers away from young girls. But whenever an institution gets subverted and perverted, for even the best of reasons, it's inevitable that it devolves into something like this. If I ever get married I plan to cut out all the middle men. Like you guys have already said, it's between the husband the wife and God. I think when people see a few real marriages take place, they may see the value in it. Real change could well start with you and me. |
