War Plane Fired Missile on Police Car (almost)

I read that a police officer's speed gun captured the speed of a car above 300 kmph. Later they found out that the speed gun had captured the speed of a Tornado war plane flying low in that area.

The sensors of war plane had locked on to the transmission from the speed gun and the pilot almost fired the missile on the police car. But he did not.

This happened in UK or Ireland.
