Vat tax increases 17% to 20% in just a few years! FAIL

I thought this is what was needed in order to save the world? ... but as of 2011, it wasn't enough, and now there is talks to increase it even more!

Its NEVER enough because our governments are a corrupt money pit...

This is another reason why I am on strike.

... and theyll get this in America as well, watch. At which point, I will never work again. EVER.

With revenue like that, a carbon tax could be used to help balance the budget. The policies discussed in the fiscal cliff debate were comparatively instructive. For example, extending the Bush tax cuts to all but the top 2 percent – as President Obama has suggested – would cost $171 billion each year in lost revenue. Preventing cuts to nondefense spending would cost $55 billion. Continuing to pay unemployment benefits would cost $26 billion. A carbon tax would pay for all of this and then some.

All that will do is kill business and consumer spending

Look at the way people are freaking out with just a 2% cut in their paychecks which isn't even a new tax, just the expration of a temporary tax cut

Look at the UK to see how this all ends:

'Collapse of UK debt-ridden social system only matter of time"

When they run out of other ways to tax you they'll get creative- like taxing you on how much daylight you get inside your dwelling- as they did in feudal times.
Almost full circle when you think about it...
And, no- never ever enough, and yes- only a matter of time before it hits this side of the pond.
