How to stop Lucid Dreaming
Anyone know how to stop lucid dreaming from happening? Whenever I lay down at night my spirit has an extremely hard time falling into that sleep state. For instance im laying there so ready to fall asleep and as my body starts to fall asleep my spirit is totally aware and then I start to see somewhat of a fog and then that fog turns into an image and then I am part of the image/dream and I am totally aware 100% of what is going on. I can feel, touch, experience, etc.....

Also when I leave my dream I will get totally tired in the dream and go to sleep in the dream(keep in mind in totally aware) and then the dream will fade away and then as it does I wake up in sleep paralysis. It like there is no time lost between the dream as it fades away and me waking up in paralysis. I am totally aware of what is going on.

I just want to sleep like a normal human being who gets a nice full 8 hours of sleep without any of this lucid type of stuff.

Any ideas how to stop this?

I forget to mention that. Yes I fly in my dreams as well. I have no clue why I fly, it almost seems like it happens naturally. I have no clue how all this started.

Go with it... It will stop the moment you stop being concerned about it happening.
Consider the possibility that you order yourself into being from chaos... You do this, always, in all ways. This "ordering" has resulted in the possibilities you're experiencing, here, now. In each experience you've ever had, more and more of "this" reality is generated logically from your previous experience. Your observation of this unfolding of order and chaos is reality.

If, when you wake up, you find yourself stuck in a human body, you're still dreaming. Get out of it and Life is lucid.

Life is like a computer game and you think you're a character in it. The truth is, you're the guy playing the Game. This is only hearsay, I've only had the experience twice in my life; once at age 4 and again in my 30s under the influence of strong drugs meditating with a friend. Look up stuff on Non-Dual.

If you can control your dream then why not get creative? Have fun, enjoy it. Many people would love to be able to do this. It's a gift. Learn how to use it and embrace it. Good luck!

Call the Catholic Church's new exorcism hotline. Ask them how often they exorcise the Holy Spirit from a host while you're at it.

You aren't getting deep restful sleep when you lucid dream...it's fun to do but it will leave you exhausted if you do it too much...

Re: How to stop Lucid Dreaming
I started off flying in my lucid dreams. As I began to take control of the dive into my subconscious, I have been able to "kill" poisons in my subconscious that I was never able to defeat in waking life- such as a childhood rape and subsequent ten year opiate addiction.

Please harness this power for good OP... There is so much you can do with it to improve your life...

I used to dream like that all the time and it was normal for me. I very rarely have dreams anymore.

Don't stop, what a gift you have! Instead, look into the ways how you can use it to its full potential! And the potential is nearly infinite!

I've gotten the sleep paralysis but not the lucid dreaming, sigh....I wanna do psychotropics sometime but I am afraid of ending up schizo.
Banned as usual.

“It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.”

Re: How to stop Lucid Dreaming
I am sorry to hear of your lucid dreams, I also suffer from this. I don't have the all night awareness that you mentioned but I do dream, mostly in the mornings, in such a way that I do not feel like I am sleeping at all. I wake up feeling like I have been running around all night!

A couple things that have helped me:

-Stay away from the sativa's at night and stick to the indica's
- Try not to eat before bedtime (within a couple hours) I find the more active my body is-- breaking down food and still working- the less I sleep soundly. In fact sometimes I find that if I do some hardcore snacking before bed I have a higher likelihood of nightmares
- I wear a mouthgaurd becauase I grind the hell out of my teeth during my escapades in my dreams

Good luck to you!

I learned to do this but I usually end up getting distracted by having astral sex. My astral body has the maturity of a 14 year old.
