Not for faint hearted.....picture of casted mucus lung airways coughed up by asthma patient WOW! That's crazy! I'm not bothered by gross stuff and instead find that fascinating. It's quite amazing... I mean it is almost all perfectly formed and still intact. LOL Old dude must have been thinking he coughed up an alien or something. Goodness knows what those around him must have been thinking too! Wow! Well thankfully it's outside of him now. That looks like it was blocking off the entrance to one of his lungs lol |

Not for faint hearted.....picture of casted mucus lung airways coughed up by asthma patient I am so happy I have had good control of my asthma for years now. It is really scary going into a full blown attack. The winter time is harder for me, especially while shovelling snow! Things that help! Drink coffee during shovelling snow. Keep your mouth and nose covered with a scarf, allowing you to breath warm moist air. Keep inhaler always on hand! Slow deep breaths! Watching little ones go through an attack is horrible. When I used to do child care for young ones, there was one child who had an episode. I had constantly told the parents I felt their child had asthma and they wouldn't listen. Sure enough their little one had an attack while in my care, they didn't have any sort of medication for their child and I only had my inhaler, but not a chamber! I didn't wait to call the paramedics, who arrived and took care of matters. I was furious with the parents and shortly there after I had stopped caring for their child, for their lack of responsibility. Asthma is serious. Those parents thought it was just the child trying to get attention. They were fortunate their child didn't have a sever case. It can go wrong very quickly! CrazyMama73 |
