A bit of history on the Jehovah's Witnesses: CT Russell was a Freemason and is buried with a pyramid on his grave. He believed the end times began in the late 1800's with Christ's invisible return. This was calculated by the measurements of the pyramid (numerology)(The Finished Mystery, published by the WBTS) and that world war II was armageddon. He believed all Jehovah's Witnesses would be resurrected in 1918 but died before 1918. His wife divorced him for cheating on him with their young boarder. This is public record.
The alcoholic lawyer, Rutherford, took over, and turned the organization into a printing empire. He is responsible for the many First amendment court cases they won as well as pushing the no blood policy after WWII. He and other members of the governing body were self appointed anointed channels of the Holy Spirit solely responsible for directing the flock who cannot receive the Holy Spirit, take the Lord's Supper or have a Heavenly hope as they are not worthy.
So what of this great crowd? If they are faithful to the Organization, get baptized, go door to door, bring others to the truth, attend meetings, live a clean life, please the elders, they may be resurrected on Paradise Earth, that is after all non-Witnesses are slaughtered by God on His day of reckoning. Where does Christ fit in? He is God's son, a great teacher, a created being, who was first Michael the archangel.
They are not Christian, by definition, just a NWO cult.
Quoting: kentoni1 Lol. Another one who did research and didn't go to the bottom of the rabbit hole.
Although Freemasons officially DENY that C.T. Russell was a mason (You will recall, if you ask if one was a mason, they are actually bound to give a straight answer). "Masonic" symbolism was very popular among christian groups around the turn of the century as well, and heck, I know even the pyramids and egypt have more to do with the Bible than even most folks here will ever realise
BUT
for the hell of it, even though it is WRONG, let's even assume that C.T. Russel WAS a mason, just a hypothetical journey..
DID YOU KNOW
that the "Jehovahs Witnesses" to C.T. Russells day were called "International Bible Stundents" and the group "International Bible Stundents" still exists today, wholly split from the actual "JEHOVAHS WITNESSES" ? It is THAT group that STILL follows C.T. Russells (incorrect) doctrines.. so if you want to point a finger at a masonic cult, then go pick on them.
Get your facts, and not just from some Anti-JW spewing idiot . I know them all and all their arguments, I love teaching those twats FACTS.
Forgot my login at the moment, but check my profile, username "r1GGs". The only Karma I ever got was for posting sensible and FACTUAL information about Jehovahs Witnesses. I know them better than they know themselves, and have found every reason to defend them to the utmost.
The Internet is FULL of LIES about them. Doesn't surprise me one bit though - Jesus himself said along the lines of "the moment YOU (his followers) are not at odds with the world, you're doing something wrong" ;)
