If he is supposedly moving the chemicals to Aleppo, it would mean that he will use this against Turkey, not a few little border villages of Syria. He would not dare this unless there'sa real military threat. He also knows that the Turkish public does not want war with Syria unlike Erdogan.

Fail n a few points:

#1 It will be "Biological" not "Chemical" weapons.

#2 Nothing can be done, as this is "ex Old Biological Weapons" that are from the former Soviet Union, and was produced by Soviet Union, when agreed by U.N., not to Weaponize Biological Weapons. And many of these weapons have got lost and lost track of where they are..

#3 Nothing the CIA, FBI, NSA, DHS, or Mossad can do with stopping the use of these "Planet Worldwide Earth affect'ing Weapons".

#4 They will be used as "Assads" back is against the wall!.

#5 There will probably be an incident on U.S. Soil, as the borders and Transporation Entry Points in USA are extremely porous!.

No evidence Syria mixing chemical agents, Pentagon official says

There is no evidence yet that the Syrian military has actually begun the process of mixing precursor chemicals to produce deadly Sarin nerve gas, a senior defense official told NBC News on Tuesday.

According to the official, despite the increased activity around several chemical weapons sites, including truck movements in and out, it’s not even clear that the precursors have been moved from separate storage sites to one location.

On Monday, US officials said the Syrian regime has ordered its Chemical Weapons Corps to “be prepared” which was interpreted to mean get all the precursors and pieces together to at least begin preparations for weaponization. The officials stressed the directive did not come directly from President Bashir Assad and did not order the use of chemical weapons. Those officials said yesterday, as the senior official repeated Tuesday that no evidence process has begun.

One senior official warned that bombing chemical weapons sites would pose a high risk of releasing deadly clouds of the Sarin nerve gas. Instead, the official suggests airstrikes could be aimed directly at Syrian regime leadership. “We would punish the leadership,” said the official.

As of today, US defense and military officials tell us there are still no warning orders or alerts to any US military forces to prepare for any possible military action against Syria.

The opposition Free Syrian Army is creating a special unit of men trained to secure Syria’s chemical weapons sites, a former general in the country’s chemical and biological weapons administration has told the Daily Telegraph.


“We have a group just to deal with chemical weapons. They are already trained to secure sites,” said Gen Adnan Silou, the most senior ranking member of Bashar al-Assad’s regime to defect and join the FSA.



“We trained them in securing stores, in reconnaissance of possible threats, in how to purge supplies and in treatment should Syria come under attack a chemical or biological attack,” said Silou.

“There were two main stores — warehouse 417 in east Damascus, and another, number 419 in Homs area. We had 1,500 soldiers and two or three generals stationed at each base,” he said.
