Paper posts pic of man about to be hit by subway ..

Actually I normally would like to say something bad about the photographer but it if it was me I would be leary of getting to close to a panicked man that is almost too low to help I mean, if he is panicked about dying (and you know he is)he might grab you and try to crawl up hard and pull you in.

Kind of what lifeguards deal with when they get close to panicked drowning victims. They can get climbed on and killed by trying to help.

What ii want to know is why the fuck are there not at least some toe holds and handles on that wall to help someone climb out on their own?! They would only have to drill some in, like what mountain climbers chizel into the walls of rocks.
Might take all of one work shift with an electric jack hammer to put some toe holds in that wall to complete one subway stop.

In the UK we have a sewer side well between the tracks. Do they have the same n your subway

If anyone has ever taken the subway in NYC you know what a unpleasant experience it is.

I just imagine that poor victim trying to live his life, commuting like cattle every day and trying to provide for your kids. Add all the normal stresses and then the menancing black guy harraassing everyone because he can and you ask him to stop and he throws you unto the tracks....

Some people can't react in a situation like this. Consider taking the subway everyday and having to put up with all the menancing people around and try to make it to your job without getting harrassed, pushed, touched or aggressively bothered by all the freaks. Most people have tuned so out and are so affraid to get into a confrontation - they become like cattle. This poor guy pushed onto the platform actually told that horrible black menance to stop bothering people and he was thrown in front of a train for it. nyc is a hell hole.

No .. the guy was protecting passengers .. and the man through him on the tracks for trying to break it up ..

i've seen the video of him being told to please go away. even if the other guy was fucking with people, you can't go around being a knight in shining armor and think you're invincible.

it's easy to die, don't let yourself get killed too easily. this guy should've been in better shape before trying to change the actions of someone else.

In NYC the train runs right up next to the stop .. I'm surprised there isn't indents in the walls .. in all the old train tracks tunnels I travel there is indents in the wall for protection if a train comes ..

So sad :(
