I congratulated him on making the choice that was best for him personally. I don't care what orientation you have, or how many times you change it, or what caused you to have it, as long as it's what you decide is best for you personally.

What I learned about the gay life, and how sad it is (despite activist claims to the contrary) was a major motivator in me finding my cure. Homosexuality is not a fulfilling lifestyle. I pity those who have been deceived into believing homosexuality is a healthy way of life.

Interesting. I noticed my gay friends have a phobia to women. Either they are disgusted by them and look down on them or they revere them so highly they feel like they can't "sully" them with sex. Totally makes sense.

Life is sometimes sad, it doesn't matter whether you are gay or straight. Many gays have happy, healthy lives. Many straights have sad, unhealthy lives. Sometimes you are dealt a bad hand. Sometimes you make the wrong choices. Sometimes gays are unhappy because of he way they are treated for being gay, not because they are gay.

I have heard that gay men often come from homes with weak or absent fathers and unusually strong or domineering mothers. Although it initially struck me as trite, several gay men I have spoken with see validity to the idea.

I think that there is a lot of truth in that, however like most things in life it doesn't tell the full story. The domineering mother may cause a fear of women. However, in my readings it's become clear that the father may be a very good father, yet the son may feel rejected by the father due to emotional problems on the son's part. It's as much about the individual's perception of their circumstances than the actuality of the situation.

Thanks for the idiot's perspective. Learn to read, I never said I was an atheist. I am not an atheist. I just believe that simply praying is not enough to change from gay to straight. Although, I have prayed in the past. Maybe God answered my prayers and led me to discover how to cure homosexuality. I just think it's unrealistic to expect that simply praying alone will cure homosexuality.

It's hardly cowardly to speak my own mind and try to help others who are struggling with unwanted homosexual feelings. Cowardice would be accepting the official 'homosexuality is natural and there is NOTHING wrong with it' line that the media and government are promoting. I know that homosexuality is unhealthy and not the way humans should live.
