I'm wondering a few things.

1. whats the best dirt to buy

2. best/cheapest light to buy

3. how long does it take to grow.

and yes, this topic is related to the website because 73.41 percent of you are pot heads.

Or, you might try googling how to grow tomatoes. It is my understanding that both plants have similar growing/fertilizing/light intensity requirements.

Re: Anyone have experience growing that GREEN Stuff?
Inside growing requires good peat-based compost. Get the fancy peat-free compost and you're asking for spider-mites to ruin your crop (they stop root growth)

Best light is the sun - or blue and red spectrum lighting if you have no sun.

Time of growth depends on species. Ryder species are autoflowering so could be cropping as early as 8 wks from seed.

Research fertiliser regimes during growth and flowering stage to get the most out of your plants.

Re: Anyone have experience growing that GREEN Stuff?
1. Go 100% organic. No fucking Miracle Grow and no fucking "dirt".

2. Buy Fox Farm soil mixes. With the various Fox Farm organic LIQUID nutrients for different stages of growth.

3. 600 watt high pressure sodium bulb MINIMUM, with ballast.

4. 8 months grow time.

That being said, it would be cool to have a grow forum on this site since it's legal in two states now.

Knowledge is not a crime.

There's no such thing as good or bad info, it just is.

The legality of it is in the intent.

^^This ^^

It is an artform to grow the ladies. Do not be surprised if it takes you several years of intense "paying attention" before you grow anything decent. Get yourself a good guide book like Marijuana Grower's Handbook: Your Complete Guide for Medical and Personal Marijuana Cultivation or Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible. Soil is key.
