Siesta Key

I know Siesta Key, Sarasota area. And the most beautiful beach I have ever been on. My aunt has a condo there and We have always had family gatherings there since I was a kid.
My place would be right where I am, close to the Smoky Mountains. Doesn't get any better than this. And plenty of water.
For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.

Tahiti (of anywhere in Polynesia) before it was "discovered" by white man. Comfortable weather, pure water, warm seas, plenty of fish and fruit, and from what I understand it was a matriarchal society ... there was plenty of leisure time for lovemaking, swimming, surfing and enjoyment of life as food was plentiful and the weather warm, no need for much shelter or clothing ... children were raised by all, love and generosity and spirituality were what life consisted of.

Sorta how life was meant to be on planet Earth ...

I'm with you AC for the same reasons... I did a project on Tahiti in public school, way back when the earth was flat, :)... and it's been on my bucket list ever since.

This may sound silly but I would love to be able to pop in and out of something like my kids play table, it has house's and other feature that can be rearranged or added and removed.

I could set it up anyway I wanted each day however pleased me,
you can basically make it whatever you want...a whole little world all to yourself with no rules, no people (unless you wanted to set up a bunch or lego men and go battlefield on them lol).

it has always been a fantasy since a child to be able to shrink down and explore, and the ability to be able to change it at will is also appealing as you would never get bored.

that is super creative and what an adventure that would be, even to shrink yourself the size of a small animal or insect to go through their tunnels and burrows...

Basically the Grand Central Station of reality. Some call it "the Source", others "the Collective".

Now, according to your rules, I couldn't go anywhere from there...but I would be able to experience everything that existence has to offer from there. cool2

I'll go with that. I want the best all of space time has to offer. I want to go to the UFO club, see who shot Kennedy, listen to Blondel...

It would be a dream to be stuck in the palezoic-mesozoic era, getting lost along endless forests and meet strange critters, sorrounded by the ancient odour of ferns.
Withouth our grim anthropic civilization, their wars and heavy footprint.
Even temperate beaches should be paradisiac then, with rare large trees still unfelled (as it is on a remote island that's hence forbidden.)

just one place?

no fair...
but ok.

I think the late thirties, early forties..for a really weird, strange reason..I just keep coming back to that era. I don't want to know someone in the war, I don't want to BE in the war...but, I feel close to that time.

At least, here lately. I listen to the music, watch the movies, check out old diaries from that era, etc etc..

Yeah, that time, USA.

Asteroid B-612 in the year 1880. I would fix a majority of the problems so when I switch back to 1 second past the present (2012)they would be non-existent.

Probably somewhere in the Northeast USA. Upstate NY in the mountains would be a possibility.

Atlantis fawww shaww!!!

The Original Atlantis, the Beginning-Garden Of Eden, not the end of Atlantis. i would love to meet Amilius/Adam. I would like to know how similar our cultures are. Then to Egypt Before the great pyramid was built. I would love to talk to Christ Jesus and ask His forgiveness. Just to see Him laugh and smile and hear His stories would be something that just can't be measured. I would tell Him I Love Him.

Now--I would travel between the Keys and Arizona. I have only been to Islamorada driving. We ate dinner and then drove back to Cocoa Beach. I would Love to see Key West and go to Jimmy Buffet's restaurant on a night he was there playing and sing along with him! And Arizona is one of my favorite places in the world. Not that I have been anywhere else, but Arizona with her quiet beauty is magic!

Re: If you could choose one place to port to for life where would it be?
Hi J-Honey..if you do not mind me asking, what does the 'J' stand for?? I ask mainly because I remember you from the 'voracious', and subsequently, 'v' days...lolhf

I saw this thread pinned earlier, but alas, was already an hour late for work, and it takes me another hour to get there...in other words, another ordinary day(for me)...but I always feel rushed for some reason..
I suppose I care about about showing up on time, just not enough to actually make an honest effort...maybe tomorrow...lol 1dunno1

yeah it doesn't matter...I do my job, when things need to be done. I have a strange job, it would be hard to explain, the purpose, that is...I feel no need to be there, if there is no need, to actually be there..know what I mean? lol

Man it takes me a while to get to a point...peace

But, back to topic at hand...
I would pick a place off this planet, to 'port' to...that is..
It is a place, I believe, to be a memory, of mine...as well, as many others..
A place where, I believe, I have incarnated first, or at least most often...
I do not recall the name, but it is nice...A world of water, if you will...where the intelligent beings live a life submerged. In a sea of tranquility...I do not recall any animosity towards others, just a great peace.
I do not remember any friction at all, just that sense of peace and love...and mutual cooperation amongst every being..rose
There is no greed , no hatred for fellow beings...none of that shit. it's quite awesomethumbs

Perhaps that is why I am here now, on this world, to experience sufferings, and all the other trappings of being human. I do not feel a sense of fitting in with most here. I have experienced the feelings of envy, jealousy, anger, vengeance, greed, etc...but I find I don't like it too much...especially the anger. It is an easy emotion to let get hold, makes one hate so much, miss even more... I have experienced much loss while here... Maybe I asked for too much this go around. I don't know what I am getting at...
I also know there is a greater human emotion, that which is love...experiencing this makes all other bad 'things' experienced while here, a moot point(probably not entirely)??...I have been blessed in this one...in all forms, although, one aspect of which, has been missing, lately.(if you know what i'm saying)hf

So yes, yes, I would like to get back to a familiar setting.

I know there are other worlds that are much more serene, not all these suffocating pressures. -In liquid, everything just works better...

I am not saying that this planet isn't beautiful, I have heard it said this is one of the most exquisite of all creation...there is just no peace here(not yetrose)...I believe it to be a great test of the creators(not God)...God(source) does not deal with these lower matters(at least, not in the sense most believe(in my opinion). enlightened beings, I believe , create much of what we experience, they have the knowledge to manipulate energies......yeah I am off on another tangent here...

Any way, thats where I would like to escape to, here and there, to recharge, if nothing else..

I also believe others remember this 'world'.. it has been referred in lore as "Atlantis"...it's all good. Could write a book about all that, but seems to just cause more animosity..not sure why????????

might have edited out some other ramblings...dance
