Fiscal cliff my ass...it's called austerity
I just love the repackaging of good ol' austerity with a new veneer. I've said it before and I'll say it again...we are cutting spending to make the minimum payment on a maxed out credit card. All the cost cutting ain't going to amount to squat.

It's way too big. So, wake the fuck up.

Yep.

Time to strap on some of that there "Austerity".

Your living standard is gonna fall about 30 to 50%.

Mine, too.

damned

Meanwhile, the Bankster Wall Street crowd will be bathing in vintage champagne, in their Hampton hideaways.

But the Republitards will save us with their fiscal "responsibility."

The sheep don't have a clue. Politicians will cut to the bone, then raise taxes, more implosion, devise more crafty ways of extracting, then, more, and more...

The only way out that I can say, without a catastrophe, it massive public work programs. The infrastructure is in bad shape and we are falling far from other countries.

Austerity is much worse than taking chemotherapy for the body politic. It ain't gonna work.

Destruction of the "Middle Class" is the goal.

Just following Lenin's playbook.

They seem to be winning!

Actually, I think the only way out is the nuke Washington DC, and the parts of Maryland and Virginia where politico-parasites live, and the UN building in NY.

It scares the hell out of me. Although a fiscal conservative, I would rather have us inflate out with massive public spending than have a police state squeeze out every every cent.

How CAN"T people see it?

I've bought silver bullion.

I think gold bullion may well be confiscated, or made illegal to own and trade with, but I can't really see silver getting the same treatment, unless we go "Mad Max".

In that case, it doesn't fucking matter anyway.

I understand that approach. I on the other-hand am spending money in an attempt to raise chickens, have a small orchard, garden, etc. Just another way of doing it.

Re: Fiscal cliff my ass...it's called austerity
The US cannot continue to borrow money to spend on imported Chinese junk and expect to be given a free ride ad nauseam.

This makes no sense.

It is like giving up your job so you can spend all day, every day at the mall buying stuff on your credit card.
