I was married to a crazy man and his mom would come down every Spring for a week with his down-syndrome sister (who I loved) and his snotty, pampered, little brother. The last year I was in the marriage, they came down and one week turned to two. Her first order of business was to rearrange all my kitchen cabinets and then she moved on to the bathrooms - I couldn't find a thing. Then crazy hubby brought home some chickens, without a place to put them - he simply let them go in the yard and yes, they dogs had a dinner. The ones that were simply stunned - hubby broke their necks and tossed them into the fire (there was always a fire there). I ran into the house with a couple surviving chickens and mom-in-law told me it was my night to cook dinner. Hell, my son knew how to feed himself and I told her that and said, I've been cooking for a week, now it's your turn. I put the chickens in the bathroom and ran out to rescue more. In total - I think I rescued a third of what he brought home and they lived in the bathroom for awhile - by this time, mom-in-law had rearranged my whole house and that last week she was there I laid in bed and read as many classic old books as I could find on my shelves - while, of course, tending to the chickens in the bathroom. When she left after that extended stay - she hugged me and cried, saying she was so pleased her son actually found a woman who loved him and would put up with him I left a couple months later - and after hearing how she wanted his first wife, the mother of his child, to be found in the bottom of a river - I can't imagine what she says about me. She sneaks, lies, corrupts, and manipulates. I won't let my kids see her. She is evil. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9645480 Fuck her up the jacksie, mate! They love it! | Rachel User ID: 28882050 12/04/2012 07:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was 8 months prego,,I had a fight on phone with hubby. Got so pissed I went out 4 a walk. Since it was dark and I was in pa she felt I was putting baby at risk. When I told her I wasn't getting in the car she punched me and her and her army brat daughter threw me in the car and tried to admit me to a phsyc ward. It backfired, I was asked if I wanted to press charges for facial contusion she admitted to giving me. I followed up therapy just so there will be no visitation unsupervised if it ever got to that. Shallni gonon? I forgive her though, she's menopausal but when it comes to my baby she's not leaving my side. Wheeeeew |

| luckyophelia User ID: 18046556 01/02/2013 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | well lets see. my boyfriend told his parents we're planning on getting married. then told them alone that we were living together. little did they know he recorded the entire thing. his mother said living together is not God's will, and that she doesn't want "deformed malnourished grandchildren" (because i smoke cigarettes). im also fairly small, i only weigh 105lbs and my entire family is very thin, so she felt the need to mention my BATHROOM HABITS. She said she thinks I use the bathroom too much and that I'm purging. SORRY LADY, not into the whole bodily fluid lose weight thing thank you very much for your so called concern. Too bad its her fucking disgusting food that upsets my stomach and my irritable bowel syndrome kicks right in when I eat it. Fucking bitch. Not to mention the fact that I'm nervous as shit around them, constantly feeling judged and watching everything I say...so I have to go compose myself in the bathroom and recollect my thoughts because I can't handle it. And now they want to know everytime I wipe my ass. Please. she went on to say im seducing her son, and that because im living with him then im dependent on him. sorry, i dont depend on anyone to take care of me, ive taken care of myself since i was 17 thank you very much! we didn't even move in until after 9 months. so now they wont talk to us and they want ALL 4 OF US to attend "christian counseling..." TOGETHER. im done. just done. whew. good thread |

| . User ID: 1610510 01/03/2013 01:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ex-husband was from Huntsville, Alabama and I'm from Virginia. His mother, who apparently never got over the Civil War, considered me a Yankee, in spite of the location of the Mason Dixon line and the fact that my great-grandfather and his brothers were in the Black Horse Cavalry on the Confederate side. That fat bitch was more Yankee than me, FFS. Anyway, MiL manipulated a 'romance' between ex-husband and some Alabama redneck chick she knew and approved of. He came back with 2 big red hickeys on his neck after a weekend visit to see his "sick" father in Alabama. I was done with them all at that point. I know the hickeys were meant as a message from the 'other' woman to me. Got it. She was pregnant within weeks, he married and divorced her. He married and divorced a couple more women. He's now living at home with Mom who has Alzheimer's. Classic. |

I worked for Medicare and finished my degree. I have chosen to stay with my baby for the first year or so of her life. I could not believe she said that. Being a mom is the hardest job I have ever had. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 31177761 01/03/2013 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My MIL has been pampered most of her adult life. After she married, she never had to worry about working outside the home. She likes to think she is a "Christian" but she has a lot of things to work on inside herself to be a true Christian. She is a two faced person but does not realize it... strangely. I have been with my husband now for 10 years. Married 7. When we were first married, my narsissitic MIL said some mean things to me ;which she did not realize because she "comes from a mean type of blood" if this makes sense... She turned to me when she knew no one was listening and said: "Well, John (not my husband's real name), Likes you but I don't". She has very little sympathy for strangers; those outside her immediate family. When she came to visit once, we went to dinner in a downtown area of our big city. I gave a homeless man 10 dollars. She had a fit! and yelled at me that what I did was irresponsible.... I told her the man looked like he had a mental illness and I wanted to help him a bit. I told her I often give to the homeless when I am downtown. She was angry and said money is not to waste like that...yada yada yada.... When I was unemployed a few years back and collecting unemployement, she told her family I was collecting "welfare payments". I was discusted at this but never said a word to my husband... He thinks she is "sweet" but I know different. She shows him the good side to her NOT the other side. My sister in law confided some of her mean ness to me once. (SIL cried for days after my MIL told her she was looking like an old hag and needed a face lift) >> true story. |
