Yes, sunglasses are a must in continued glaring light. I'm sure this is painful as well. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |

| Ohwell User ID: 2301453 12/04/2012 10:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes we all know the sun is hot. Its been the topic of discussion on this forum for what? 4 years? We dont need Cooper to tell us this. Obviously this is a subtle way to bring the Sun into some sort of discussion and if indeed a solar flare or max is expected, this is a kind of neat way or a build up to a story to say what the sun could be capable of in the very near future. Oh, I forgot, is this the same Anderson Cooper or CNN that ever told the truth about the collapse of building 7? It is surprising they still have some credibility in the eyes of the masses. Since people still listen to them, at what price does your soul go for? Suddenly Anderson is now your friend and his eye got burnt.......wheeeeeeeerrn! Sun don't hurt my Anderson. Do you think for a monent these people are stupid? If you have not realised yet, these people are setting you up for slaughter with every bit of News they tell ya and you are falling for it hook line.....oh dear! I did put my sun glasses on and visor down but I was so freaked about the sun, I took a picture while driving to send to my daughter and told her about it. The highways sucked too, they were really icy. I had a brutal time driving for a bit this morning. Here's the picture of it that I took. :sunDEC4: |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 801546 12/04/2012 10:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is funny that 2 people wrote in this thread that the Sun is changing. One said his eye doctor mentioned it to him. Im a handyman by trade, my father a master carpenter. We BOTH noticed our bodies reacting MUCH differently to the Sun than before. The weird thing is, LOTS of people who work outside that I've talked to have experienced the same thing. I am no longer able to be out in the Sun even HALF the time I used to, without getting physically SICK. Now, my Father and I are both Italian. We don't burn really, we just tan nicely even hours daily in the sun. However, the Sun has been making us both violently sick the past 2 years, even with drinking LOTS of water, and trying to stay in the shade as much as we can. it is weird. Could all be coincidence? I'm just relating my experience, and what I've seen. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, although I definitely think it is possible the sun is different somehow. |

I have have talked to him once or twice and he is very friendly and never once asked me an insulting question like most who interview me. He is truly a great and caring man something that is uncommon amongst his kind, his mother is also a beautiful lady and an amazing hostess. I can not say we are close but I can say that of all the people i have been in contact with, they are a breed of their own and never have a meet a nicer family. They way people interact is very important to me and how i base my judgment of character, and Andy's is one of the purist people I have meet, no unwarranted hostility or anger that most people project. I hope he gets well soon so he can get back to breaking the ladies hearts :) |

| telling it straight User ID: 1461054 12/04/2012 10:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's been a lot of threads on glp over the last year-two actually-on the topic of the sun getting hotter. I started at least one of them and was surprised at the responses. People all over the world have observed that the sun is more intense and hot. Sunburns have been reported on days where the temperature wasn't particularly high or in seasons where a sunburn never happens. People have noticed they burn much more easily and the burns seem worse than what they've ever experienced. I bought myself two pairs of expensive polarized sunglasses and have started using a good sunscreen when I'm outside for any length of time. I think the sun IS extra hot and getting very dangerous. I thought, damn that's bright. The sun is in early stages of supernova. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25512421 I try to avoid driving West in the late afternoon. I literally cannot see anything but the blinding Sun. I went thru a red light not long ago, while driving West. I couldn't see the light at all. The Sun is blinding in its intensity. It used to be orange/yellow, now it is white.
