TEPCO released a survey Monday which focused on the worker conditions of about 4,000 workers of 27 contractors to TEPCO between September and October. According to the survey, 47.9 pct of such workers said that the companies directing them on-site at Fukushima Daiichi were different from those that paid their wages. These findings may be indications that subcontracting companies may be disguising subcontracts in violation of the employment security law.
