Of course He couldn't do anything without God the Father's help. He was completely human.

So, you're insinuating that someone can be equal and one with God (as Jesus said He was), yet not be God? Jesus never said he was equal to God. He was one with God like we can all be one with God. We can be in agreement and harmony with God. But that doesn't make us God. John 5:16-18, "And for this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. 17But He answered them, 'My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working. 18For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God." The Jews of the day thought Jesus was calling Himself equal with the Father. In Luke 5, as well: When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the crippled man, "My friend, your sins are forgiven." The Pharisees and the experts began arguing, "Jesus must think he is God! Only God can forgive sins."
