I have been waking up and seeing 4:44 for years!! Now not every week but many many times throughout my life I have awoken and the clock was 4:44!! I mean look at it this way, if you woke up at 44 minutes after 4, and the clock didn't say 44 minutes after 4, THAT would be a problem. The clock saying what time it currently is = working as intended.
