Keep in mind that I'm not saying this is a good site to purchase from since I've never purchased anything here, but just to give you an idea of some signs that are out there.

It doesn't say 'shot on sight' but clearly shows someone holding a pistol so the message should be perfectly clear.

There are smaller stickers saying pretty much the same thing at this site.

At the first site I linked to, if you scroll down and view some of their other signs, they have another one that reads "Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again."

I guess that means it's legal to post signs like that (else why would they make them?)

As a sign maker, I can tell you yes. Not sure about the laws in your state regarding carrying that threat out on private property.
