| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27428316 12/04/2012 10:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | how much do one of these 3-D printers cost anyways? Isn't this state-of-the-art technology? I worked as a sales rep at a Ricoh dealership for a couple years. The 80-90 ppm machines cost like $8000 and up. Even if these 3D plastic guns worked nearly just as well as steel guns, the technology and costs to produce them would still be high. I just don't see how there would be a market for them. I wouldn't waste a couple hundred bucks on a working plastic gun that would break down after a couple years. |
