I would have to say no unless you do not have some food and supplies set aside for a just in case scenario as the bottom-line you cannot eat silver or gold and if trouble erupts a bag of beans will be more valuable in the short run.

Our communist president obama has made it perfectly clear that falling off the fiscal cliff is a better option than reigning in his wanton spending and giving the impression that further robbing from the rich will be a viable long-term solution for his reckless spending.

Part of me wishes Romney would have won just so that we could all watch his policy's fail and we can rub it in your face that trick down economics DOESN'T work!!! At some point ppl hoard the money, it will NEVER make it all the way down.. And it's a big slope...

It only makes sense to grow the economy from the middle (bottom) up. 98% of the population spending money will stimulate the economy much faster then 1 or 2 % of the population getting richer and paying less in taxes bc it's capital gains.

The moment the Federal Reserve stops printing money and buying treasuries, then you can sell.

They are currently buying 90% of all treasuries sold. Which means you should BUY MORE! Or at least buy from food, everything is going to go up.

If you need the money to live on or make food preps then SELL. If not then KEEP STACKING as if nothing else has any value.

The money is already hoarded. But now, the hoarders won't spend or invest any of it because they don't want to pay any extra taxes (or the ones that are already there for that matter) on it. We're in a Catch-22, and a fantasy plan of going after these hoarders and forcing them to "pay their fair share" is just that: a fantasy. They haven't paid their fair share for a long time and that's not going to change. The people who will pay are those beneath the massive hoarders and the dirt poor.
