They KNOW Nibiru is coming..and the reason they spend so much time looking up and watching their owners so intently is they know that at any moment they could be clobbered over the head and eaten.

Just sayin...

Re: My Dogs are Constantly Looking Up and are Scared.....Anybody ??
My three year old chihuahua suddenly got freaked out and will not get down on the floor. She sniffs and gets as high off the floor as possible in every room except the dining room. She is visibly scared and difficult to get to relax. She especially wants nothing to do with me. Now we have always been snuggle buddies, so I am not sure what is going on. She would lay on her back in my arms (baby style) and I would rub her tummy. Now I can't get her to come near me. Poor baby I don't see anything or hear anything unusual. Any ideas....

It depends on the breed bird dogs like retrievers look up all the time. My lab mix used to always watch the airplanes overhead. I think that's the reason chihuahuas have so much loose skin on their necks, they can turn there heads in almost any direction without getting up. Which is good being so small they have a lot of hazards to watch out for.

So. Calif. here. I have two dogs....one a shepherd and the other a pit mix. The pit mix is very close to me. He will be lying on the floor next to me one minute... then will start to get antsy and wimper either looking at me like he wants to tell me something or going into the living room sniffing around and staring up at the walls. If I get the camera and start taking pics where he's at... there are always lots of orbs in the shots. I call them orb parties. Then he settles back down and the orbs disappear. It's like he senses when they come into the room.

Re: My Dogs are Constantly Looking Up and are Scared.....Anybody ??
I apologize for bumping an old thread. I was browsing around the forum and saw a link to this thread and wanted to reply with my thoughts. We have cats and they've been doing some of the things mentioned in this thread. Let me state ahead of time that my cats are very smart and I see how they do with bugs. They'll all group together and watch a certain area and I know they spot a bug. Shortly after one of them will catch the bug and I'll get the bug away from them, kill the bug and flush it. So yeah, I trust them enough to say when they see something they see something. But there's so many times they act like they see something and I just don't see anything. I never see anything come out from that spot, move around that spot, etc.

One of my cats had a health scare when he was smaller and he was meowing up in the air as if somebody or something was talking to him.

We're not cruel to our cats but a lot of the times they will get in a panic at the slightest thing/noise. And tbh that breaks my heart. I don't want my babies to be scared like the way I see them getting scared. I sit with them, talk with them, pet them to try and calm them down and it's still happening. I really would like to be able to see or hear whatever they're seeing or hearing. I think it's something bad whatever it is. I think back to the story I just told about the cat with a health scare and he wasn't acting scared at that time. He was meowing repeatedly as if he was having a pleasant conversation with it.

A fear reaction is artificially being prompted by unseen entities.

because fear is a tool used to control behaviour.

My cat has been doing that too. Looking up where the ceiling meets the walls as if there is something interesting there. When I try to find anything, a bug or something, it's not there. Nothing is there. It's really weird.

Interesting. Maybe I'll try that.

Re: My Dogs are Constantly Looking Up and are Scared.....Anybody ??
I've seen threads like this going back quite awhile, and nothing unusual happens afterwards. So odd behavior of pets apparently is a localized thing and fairly typical on various occasions.

Agree. Me as well. It's like starting a thread asking:
"does your back, or left arm hurt?"

What do you suppose the responses would be?

coffeecup

Now if someone somehow started a thread and it became evident that EVERYBODY'S back hurt, or everybody's dog was acting up..... then something is definitely cooking.

Re: My Dogs are Constantly Looking Up and are Scared.....Anybody ??
just thought I would share my odd dog behavior as well. Lately he just lays around staring at me very intently. I have also noticed him often looking very curiously at a spot on the wall above and behind me. It is as if he is watching a bug or something on the wall but I fail to ever see anything there. This behavior is relatively new only within the past few weeks.

Try taking some photos in the direction they are looking. I did that when my cat was doing this and captured an orb.
