it's amazing the principled stance so many of you have taken against universal rights for disabled people world-wide under some dim pretense of protecting American sovereignty and staving off the imaginary threat of state-mandated abortions and civil liberties. why is it that those on the right who constantly espouse their supposed Christian values are so prone to demonstrating a complete lack of empathy for weak, the sick and the poor? is it cognitive dissonance or are you just pathologically shit-headed?

not only would this not have had any fucking effect on domestic policy at all, but the treaty was directly modeled after the Americans With Disabilities Act. Given this is the case, i suppose the objectors also object to maintaining equal right for America's disabled citizens?
