The "homeless" man has been identified by his brother and he has an apartment. Obviously, he is mentally ill, as many homeless people are. Why in the heck would the guy making the video say that the policeman's last name would clue you in that the story is fake? Because he has an Italian name? That's just wrong! Personally I feel the this was an attempt to give law enforcement some positive publicity in the face of overwhelming negative publicity. Truthfully when police do their job they get negative publicity because it's their job to beat people into submission. The only real way to garner positive publicity for law enforcement is through deceptive "advertising." I don't feel that there's any merit to any of the connections being made here. Yes corporations, governments and even individuals go about distorting the truth or simply making it up in order to further whatever agenda they have in mind, usually to make money, but there really isn't much in the way of global conspiracy involved. For the most part these individuals and organizations don't really collaborate on their efforts. They're all working for their own pocket books and with this we end up with a melting pot of lies where really no one is in full possession of the facts because they're all lying for different reasons. While it is true that corporate entities do engage in this type of advertisement in this case I believe the ad is for law enforcement. |
