I'm not sure. They told me if it was more to fix then replace they would replace it. The screen was even turning off by itself sometimes, only to return with windows alerting me it had recover the an issues with the display drivers. I'm still covered till early next year. |

I'd recommend a third party charger but it would be foolish to spend the money on one just to replace the laptop. I'd work with Best Buy to swap the hard drive over or to move your data (there is an app to migrate machines) - it will cost about the same as a third party charger and you'll be all set. |

If your laptop breaks they move everything off the old one to the new one in the service depot because they're super nice and macs are easy. That and time machine. Macs rock. |
