um yeah sure.. a space-ship if you want to call it that... but you fail to realize this is a spaceship that just keeps going in the same circle over and over and over again.

not exactly. we follow our sun which moves on one of the arms of the milky way galaxy.

and on top of that, our galaxy is on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy. but that won't happen for millions or billions of years

We orbit the sun and it looks like the same circle over and over again, but the sun is moving. So each time we make an orbit its in new Space.

As our sun moves through space we make a spiral of where we have been.

Behind us is a corkscrew of spacetime.
