I'm a proud picker and dumpster diver. It's made me a lot of money. Picking is perfectly legal where I live so long as the "trash" is on the curb. It's illegal to trespass on someone's lawn. That's reasonable, of course.
What I don't get is how the fascists here at GLP are so opposed to something as intelligent and innocent as picking or dumpster diving. Frankly, I'm glad that you guys are put off by it. That's what makes it one of the best-kept secrets to making money. LOL.

That's why you should shred everything important. There are identity theives out there, ya know. We pickers don't mess with house garbage. We don't go through trash bags or even open them. We get furniture and other items that are out in the open. If we see something good, we stop and load it up. We don't go house to house rifling through trash. Identity theives do though.
