You are stealing but also you are trespassing. and it's private property that your taking. There is (what I thought anyway) an upspoken agreement with the waste dept. that my refuse is to be disposed of properly and not used for anyones gain or used against me. Besides I don't want anyone going through my garbage, that's just creepy. And I certainly don't want anyone on my property. Much less invading my privacy.

What about the germs and diseases you must come in contact with. Yuk. Plus if you got in an accident on a bicycle because the bicycle wasn't fit to be rode you'd probably sue the previous owner for putting out a bicycle that was dangerous.
