My cans sit on my property...the city supplies the cans and they have my address on them, but they DO sit on my property.
Quoting: BRIEF No dumbass.. they do not.. because if you kept them on YOUR PROPERTY when it came time for collection... the garbage men would not take them. I take that back.. you aren't making shit up on the fly... you really are that stupid. GODDAMNITSOMUCH I really don't want to defend BRIEF, but he's right - trash people will come on your land to pick up trash - at least they do here. They do it every other week to empty my dumpster. That is a dumpster.. entirely different situation... they need a machine to move and empty it. grabage cans at the curb.. not so much. No he is not right.. he does not understand the common law interpretation of cutilage nor right of ways. Build a shed to house those garbage cans where he sits them for collection and he will find out in short order that it is not his property..LOL. Fair enough, I was being more general and not narrowing it down to receptacle - my bad. And as an added bonus, I don't have to defend or agree with BRIEF.
