Um, don't drink bottled water perhaps? Use paper cups or ceramic mugs? Drink from the tap, that's where most bottled water comes from anyway.

When I was a kid, there was no such thing as bottled water. Who would pay for water in a little plastic bottle when it was available everywhere for free?

Now we have this weird habit of creating permanent environmental waste (water bottles) just to carry around a few gulps worth of water.
